Operations regarding sanitation and water drainage are proceeding continuously across various sewerage lines, drainage channels, neighborhoods, and markets. He noted that WASA Mandi Bahauddin teams are taking practical measures to restore and clean the drainage infrastructure in various parts of the city to address complaints regarding water stagnation in streets, markets, and residential areas. Special emphasis is being placed on improving water flow and alleviating difficulties faced by citizens through the cleaning of sewerage lines and drainage channels. Speaking exclusively to Raja Muhammad Ayub—District Bureau Chief of *Daily Sama* (Lahore) and PTV News correspondent for Mandi Bahauddin—MD WASA Ali Ahmed affirmed that providing a clean environment and timely resolution of drainage issues are among the organization’s top priorities. To this end, field staff have been instructed to perform their duties with diligence and to effectively carry out sanitation and drainage operations across the city. He added that, alongside the cleaning of sewerage lines, drainage channels, and neighborhoods, arrangements for water drainage in markets are also being improved to ensure citizens do not face difficulties during their daily commute. Relevant staff are carrying out sanitation work at various locations and taking measures to improve the drainage situation. Ali Ahmed stated that WASA field teams would continue their efforts to provide better municipal services to the citizens. He affirmed that all available resources would be utilized to enhance the city’s sanitation and drainage systems, ensuring a clean environment and improved drainage facilities for the residents of Mandi Bahauddin.
