YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, was arrested at Lahore Airport, sending shockwaves across Pakistan’s online community. Authorities say the case is linked not just to his personal activities but to a wider network under investigation.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) accuses him of promoting illegal online gambling apps such as Binomo and 1xBet, calling it financial fraud that harmed the public. Officials also claim evidence of suspicious money transfers and links to foreign payment channels, suggesting possible money laundering.
He has been booked under the PECA Act 2016 and sections of the Pakistan Penal Code. A court granted two days of physical remand for further investigation.
This is not the first controversy for Ducky Bhai, who has previously faced cases involving reckless driving and displaying firearms on social media. His arrest highlights growing concerns about the darker side of YouTube fame in Pakistan—where popularity and quick money sometimes cross legal and ethical boundaries.
Authorities now face pressure to show whether this is an isolated crackdown or part of broader reforms to regulate online content and financial misconduct.
