FAISALABAD: Under the educational development initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and on the initiative of the divisional administration, a decision has been taken to immediately establish a Divisional Model College (DMC) in Tehsil Chak Jhumra along the GOR-III Canal Expressway.
A meeting chaired by Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar was held in this regard. During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Captain (R) Nadeem Nasir proposed the establishment of a Divisional Model College in an already constructed building at GOR-III. The Commissioner agreed with the proposal and directed the DMC administration to ensure immediate implementation.
The meeting was also briefed on the progress regarding the establishment of a Divisional Model College in Samanabad. The Commissioner instructed the concerned authorities to arrange a suitable building for the college. He said that a network of public schools is being expanded across the division, where students are being provided quality education and excellent training at affordable fees, which is the hallmark of public schools.
Additional Commissioner Asif Chohan, Principal DMC Main Campus Mirza Yaseen, and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
