Breakthrough on Ziarat Tragedy, Government Delegation and Sit-in Committee Agree on Several Points

The prolonged negotiations between the government negotiating team and the families of the martyrs of the Ziarat tragedy and the sit-in committee have concluded. After the negotiations, the government delegation left for the Chief Minister’s House to brief the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, on the details.
According to sources, the negotiations were held in a cordial atmosphere, where the demands presented by the sit-in committee were discussed in detail. During the talks, progress was made on several important matters and consensus was reached between the two sides on many points.
Sources say that a principled agreement was reached on several important demands, including the establishment of a Judicial Commission, while positive progress was also made on other demands. The government delegation will present a complete report of the negotiations to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, after which the future course of action and decisions will be announced.
According to sources, after the recent negotiations, the hope of resolving matters through dialogue between the two sides has become even stronger, however, the final approval of the demands and the decision regarding their implementation will be taken after consultation with the Chief Minister of Balochistan.
The meeting was attended by Awami National Party Provincial President Asghar Khan Achakzai, Mabat Kaka, Javed Khan Kakar, Rasheed Khan Nasir, Malik Amanullah Kakar, Sanaullah Kakar, Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Provincial President Nasrullah Khan Zerey, Pashtunkhwa MAP Central General Secretary Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s Maulana Kamaluddin, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Abdul Mateen Akhundzada, National Democratic Movement’s Provincial President Ahmad Jan Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Provincial President Daud Shah Kakar, MNA Adil Khan Bazai, National Party’s Central Vice President Dr. Ishaq Baloch, Balochistan National Party’s Agha Hassan Baloch, Mazloom Olsi Tehreek President Abbas Khan Durrani, political leader Asfandyar Kakar, among the families of the martyrs Naseem Khan, Dr. Abdus Samad, Tariq Tareen, Nawaz Khan, Naqeebullah, Feroz Khan, Haji Zainullah, Dr. Hidayatullah and Anjuman-e-Tajiran President Abdul Rahim Kakar and Hazrat Ali Achakzai.
Meanwhile, according to highly informed sources, extremely important announcements are expected to make the negotiations successful. Meanwhile, an important joint meeting of the sit-in committee and the families of the Ziarat martyrs is also underway. The sit-in committee has announced that in case of failure of negotiations, there will be a complete shutter-down strike across the province tomorrow, July 17, Friday.
