Mandi Bahauddin, focusing on the protection, safety, and self-confidence of female students, as well as raising awareness against harassment. The seminar aimed to familiarize students with the importance of a safe educational environment, inform them of their rights, and prepare them to defend themselves with courage and determination in any unpleasant situation. Assistant Commissioner Mandi Bahauddin, Lt. (Retd.) Asfandyar, and the Principal of District Jinnah Public School and College, Professor Tariq Javed, attended the event as special guests. Addressing the seminar, the speakers stated that the purpose of education is not limited to textbooks alone; providing a safe, dignified, and encouraging environment for students is a fundamental responsibility of educational institutions. Raising awareness among female students regarding their safety, confidence, and rights is crucial so that they can play a confident and empowered role in society. The speakers urged the students to remain vigilant about their honor and personal safety, to raise their voices against any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior, and to immediately inform their parents, teachers, or relevant authorities in such situations. They emphasized that seeking timely redress and proper guidance is far better than remaining silent. On this occasion, the students were also encouraged to develop self-defense awareness, face difficult situations with courage, and have confidence in their own abilities. The seminar emphasized the vital importance of organizing awareness activities to provide female students with a safe and conducive educational environment.
The objective of the seminar was to foster a sense of security and self-confidence among female students and to raise awareness about their rights, enabling them to pursue their education without fear and play an effective role in the future development of the country and the nation.
