The Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge was officially renamed the Jocelyn Nungaray National Wildlife Refuge on Thursday, in tribute to the life of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, who was tragically murdered last year. The renaming serves as a lasting memorial to honor her memory.
