AC Sahiwal Maham Wahid Inspects Polio Teams and Transit Points

Assistant Commissioner Maham Wahid visited various residential areas and bus and wagon stands to review the performance of field teams of Tehsil Sahiwal in connection with the ongoing polio campaign across the district.

Where he conducted a detailed review of the attendance of polio teams, the process of vaccinating children, the accuracy of records and the implementation of the micro plan. On this occasion, he directed the teams to go door to door and ensure that every child up to the age of five is vaccinated against polio and no child should be left out of this preventive campaign.

Assistant Commissioner Maham Wahid also reviewed the performance of the teams deployed at transit points, especially bus and wagon stands, and directed that traveling children should be vaccinated against polio in every case to prevent the spread of the virus.

He appealed to parents to fully cooperate with the polio teams and get their children vaccinated against polio because polio is a contagious disease that can only be prevented through vaccination. He also expressed his determination that all resources are being utilized to make Sahiwal district polio-free and the campaign will be made successful at all costs.
