Dignified ceremonies held at Iqra Ilmi Markaz Chaman on the occasion of Teachers’ Day
Chaman (Special Report) Teachers are the ones who always deserve high status and respect. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, simple yet dignified ceremonies were organized at both institutions of Iqra Ilmi Markaz Chaman – the Boys and Girls Sections.
The main ceremony in the Boys Section was presided over by the chief guest, senior journalist & columnist and Head of Iqra Ilmi Markaz Chaman, Syed Sardar Mohammad Khondai.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qudratullah, a student of Class 10. This was followed by the National Anthem of Pakistan, for which all teachers and students stood up in respect.
On the occasion, students delivered comprehensive speeches on the topic of “The Glory of the Teacher” and paid rich tribute to all their teachers. The duties of stage secretary were performed by the talented student Saadullah.
Addressing the ceremony, the chief guest Syed Sardar Mohammad Khondai said that all nations of the world agree on the fact that teachers are the real strength of society and play a fundamental role in the progress and prosperity of nations. He said we must respect and honor our teachers, because teachers are the only source for building a knowledgeable and skilled society.
In the end, the chief guest distributed cash prizes among the students who delivered the best speeches.
Meanwhile, a dignified ceremony was also organized at the Girls Section of Iqra Ilmi Markaz Chaman, where female students delivered speeches on the occasion of the day and presented colorful national songs.
Cake-cutting ceremonies were also held separately in all classes of both institutions. Senior journalist Syed Sardar Mohammad Khondai participated in all cake-cutting ceremonies in the Boys Section.
In a statement issued by Iqra Ilmi Markaz Chaman, a great tribute was paid to all teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
