Southwestern National Bank Introduces New Brand and Trade Name
Southwestern Bank Unveils New Identity Ahead of 30th Anniversary Expansion
HOUSTON, May 19, 2026 — Southwestern National Bank officially introduced its refreshed brand identity and new trade name, Southwestern Bank, during a special announcement at its Houston corporate headquarters.
The rebranding initiative comes as the community-focused financial institution approaches its 30th anniversary while continuing to expand its banking presence across Texas and California.
The updated brand includes a modernized logo, redesigned branch signage, refreshed marketing materials, and a newly updated website at southwesternbank.com. Despite the refreshed public identity, the bank confirmed that its legal name will remain Southwestern National Bank.
Founded in 1997, Southwestern National Bank has grown from a single community bank into a trusted financial institution serving multicultural individuals, families, and businesses throughout Texas and California. Bank officials stated that the new brand reflects the institution’s evolution while maintaining its long-standing commitment to personalized service and community relationships.
“This rebrand reflects how the bank has grown and evolved while preserving the values our customers know and trust,” said Joanne Kim, Chief Executive Officer of Southwestern Bank. “The Southwestern Bank name and refreshed identity give us a more modern, yet recognizable presence in the market, but our commitment to serving our customers will never change.”
The bank emphasized that the changes are limited to branding and trade name updates only. Customer accounts, routing information, online banking access, branch staff, leadership structure, and shareholder relationships will remain unchanged. FDIC insurance coverage will also continue under the bank’s legal name, Southwestern National Bank.
According to the bank, customers can continue using all existing banking services without interruption during the transition period.
“Our priority is making sure customers understand what is changing and what is not,” Kim added. “They will see a new name and visual identity, but they will continue to work with the same people and receive the same personal service they expect from Southwestern National Bank.”
The refreshed branding will gradually appear across all customer touchpoints, including branch locations, digital banking platforms, printed communications, and promotional materials.
Southwestern Bank remains focused on providing personal and business banking services with a strong emphasis on community engagement, relationship banking, and long-term financial partnerships.
