the Punjab Education Department has upgraded the Government Model Primary School in the village of “Sanda,” Mandi Bahauddin, to the status of an Elementary (Middle) School. An inaugural ceremony marking this upgrade was held under the chairmanship of Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood Ranjha. The event was attended by former Nazim Chaudhry Khurram Ehsan Ranjha, Chaudhry Usman Ahmed Ranjha, Sarfraz Ahmed Khan Heelan, and Deputy Bureau Chief Raja Hamza Ayub, alongside Education Department officials and a large number of local residents. Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood Ranjha inaugurated the school by cutting the ribbon. Addressing the gathering, he stated that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is striving to provide educational facilities in villages and rural areas alongside cities, and the provincial government has allocated millions of rupees for this purpose. The upgrade to an Elementary School will enable local children to receive quality education within their own village, eliminating the need to travel to other villages. He remarked that the advancement of education equates to the development of the region and affirmed that this journey of public service would continue. Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood Ranjha received a grand welcome upon his arrival in the village for the inauguration. The residents of “Sanda” accorded them a grand welcome, accompanied by the beat of drums and the showering of flower petals. The locals expressed their gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood Ranjha for the up-gradation of the school.
