has appealed to all property taxpayers across the district to avail themselves of a special 5% discount by depositing their property tax for the current fiscal year by September 30, 2026, ETO Chaudhry Mukhtar Ahmed Gondal stated that PT-5 tax challans have been issued to all property taxpayers in the district. Taxpayers can easily deposit their property tax online using the PSID printed on the challan via JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or the mobile apps and online banking services of any bank. He added that taxpayers who have not yet received their challans can obtain them from their respective excise office or the District Excise and Taxation Office in Mandi Bahauddin. He clarified that the 5% discount would expire after September 30, 2026, and the prescribed surcharge or penalty would be imposed on any outstanding property tax. He urged citizens to pay their property tax before the deadline to avoid additional financial burdens and legal actions—such as the sealing of properties or the issuance of arrest warrants—and to demonstrate their status as responsible citizens.
