Punjab CM’s “Miyat Transfer Service with Dignity” Program Officially Launched in Attock

Attock (Bureau Report: Ejaz-ul-Hassan): The Punjab Chief Minister’s public welfare program, the Miyat Transfer Service, has been officially launched in Attock district, providing free transportation services for deceased persons.

Member of the National Assembly Sheikh Aftab Ahmed was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony, while Anil Saeed, Additional Deputy Commissioner Attock, also attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Sheikh Aftab Ahmed appreciated the performance of Rescue 1122 and said that the Punjab Chief Minister’s initiative is an important milestone toward providing dignified assistance to people during some of the most difficult and sorrowful moments of their lives.

District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Attock, Dr. Mian Muhammad Ashfaq, said that in accordance with the vision of the Punjab Chief Minister, six special ambulances have been provided for the free Miyat Transfer Service in Attock district.

He said the six ambulances will provide completely free services across all six tehsils of Attock district: Attock, Hazro, Hassan Abdal, Jand, Pindi Gheb and Fateh Jang.

The launch of the service is intended to provide families with a dignified and free transportation facility for deceased persons across the district.
