President Receives Wafaqi Mohtasib’s Annual Report for 2025

ISLAMABAD: Federal Ombudsman Pakistan Naveed Kamran Baloch called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday and presented the institution’s Annual Report for 2025, highlighting its performance in providing speedy administrative justice and resolving public complaints.
During the meeting, the Wafaqi Mohtasib briefed the President on the institution’s performance and initiatives aimed at improving public access to administrative justice.
He informed the President that the institution had resolved a record 261,101 complaints in 2025, compared with 223,198 complaints in 2024, achieving an implementation rate of 96.8 per cent.
He also highlighted the expansion of the institution’s presence to 28 cities and the establishment of One Window Facilitation Desks for Overseas Pakistanis at international airports to facilitate the resolution of their complaints.
The Wafaqi Mohtasib further informed the President that nearly 88 per cent of complaints were disposed of within the statutory period of 60 days, reflecting the institution’s efforts to ensure timely relief to the public.
President Asif Ali Zardari appreciated the performance of the Wafaqi Mohtasib, observing that the institution was rendering a valuable service to the people by addressing their grievances and facilitating access to administrative justice.
The President stressed the need to effectively publicise the institution’s activities, particularly its efforts to ensure the speedy redressal of public complaints, so that more people could become aware of its services and benefit from the available complaint-resolution mechanism.
