Potohar Young Journalists Association, Aman Labs Sign MoU for Healthcare Discounts
Attock (Ijaz-ul-Hassan): The Potohar Young Journalists Association (PYJA) and Aman Labs & Diagnostic Center have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide special healthcare-related discounts to journalists and their family members.
Under the agreement, members of the Potohar Young Journalists Association and their families will receive special discounts on various laboratory tests at Aman Labs & Diagnostic Center. The initiative is aimed at helping journalists and their families access quality diagnostic services at relatively lower costs.
The MoU was signed by Potohar Young Journalists Association Chairman Babar Aurangzeb Chaudhry and General Secretary Saniya Awan Malik, while Aman Labs & Diagnostic Center was represented by Deputy CEO Asif Khalil and Corporate Manager Raja Mubashir Nazir, who also signed the agreement.
Patron of the Potohar Young Journalists Association Malik Sharjeel Liaquat, Information Secretary Umar Farooq and Legal Adviser Samiullah Malik were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, PYJA Chairman Babar Aurangzeb Chaudhry said journalists work day and night to highlight public issues and play an important role in serving society. He said initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of journalists and their families are an important need of the time.
Babar Aurangzeb thanked the management of Aman Labs for extending the healthcare-related support and said the partnership would provide practical assistance to PYJA members in accessing diagnostic facilities.
He added that the Potohar Young Journalists Association would continue working with different institutions not only for the professional guidance of journalists but also for their welfare and the facilitation of their families.
Deputy CEO Aman Labs Asif Khalil described the MoU as a positive example of cooperation between the journalistic community and the private sector. He expressed hope that mutual cooperation would be expanded in the future in the fields of healthcare, education, training and welfare.
The agreement represents an effort to strengthen welfare support for journalists and their families while improving access to diagnostic healthcare services through cooperation between the journalism community and the private sector.
