Pakistan is progressing along the path of development, and our lands hold a treasure trove of minerals;

Jeddah (Reported by Amir Muhammad Khan):

the ship is sailing, yet those manning the oars lack the necessary expertise. Our lands abound with natural riches—after all, Trump’s affection for Pakistan is not without reason. In regions rich with natural resources, local inhabitants sift through the soil to extract gold; the real question, however, is: who will allow us to extract the treasures hidden beneath our soil? Ijaz-ul-Haq was addressing a dinner hosted by Muhammad Abid Anwar, a senior member of the “Yaran-e-Jeddah” group; a large number of Pakistanis from diverse backgrounds attended the event. Speaking on the occasion, Ijaz-ul-Haq noted the ongoing debate regarding provinces and asked why a local government system is not introduced in every city. He recalled that former President Pervez Musharraf had introduced such a system, but as it had certain flaws, a “Musharraf-plus” model should now be devised—a local government system where the public themselves resolve local issues. Ijaz-ul-Haq expressed his delight at seeing Pakistanis united abroad, emphasizing that the expatriate community plays a pivotal role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy.

Saudi Arabia is Pakistan’s most important friend; the unity of overseas Pakistanis further strengthens this friendship and enhances Pakistan’s prestige. Ijaz-ul-Haq stated that terrorists have targeted our homeland and that all anti-Pakistan elements have united; while 80 000innocent civilians and 15,000 of our brave soldiers have been martyred due to terrorism, the morale of the public and security agencies remains high, and they are determined to send the last terrorist to hell. Addressing the dinner, Jamal Shah Kakar, a Member of the National Assembly from Balochistan, noted that Pakistan is a land of four seasons and is endowed by nature with mineral wealth for trade; he added that the operationalization of Gwadar Port would provide a major boost to CPEC and the Pakistani economy. He further stated that our armed forces and the government are countering propaganda directed against Balochistan, and that our country is more beautiful than thousands of others. Masood Ahmed Puri, Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Gujjar, and Azhar Waraich also addressed the gathering.
