Pakistan Ambassador Ahmed Farooq Meets Community Leaders at New Jeddah Consulate
JEDDAH (By Amir Muhammad Khan): Pakistan’s newly established Consulate in Jeddah, regarded as one of the most modern and impressive diplomatic facilities in the region, hosted an important meeting between senior members of the Pakistani community and top diplomatic officials.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq and Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani met with prominent members of the Pakistani community at the new Consulate building in Jeddah. During the meeting, participants discussed matters related to economic cooperation, trade, investment, manpower, and strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The participants emphasized the importance of expanding economic partnerships between the two brotherly countries and exploring new avenues of cooperation across various sectors. Discussions also focused on enhancing business opportunities and promoting greater engagement between the private sectors of both nations.
Ambassador Ahmed Farooq praised the contributions of Pakistani professionals, entrepreneurs, and skilled workers residing in Saudi Arabia. He noted that overseas Pakistanis are playing a significant role in strengthening ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom and continue to serve as valuable ambassadors of their homeland.
Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani also acknowledged the services of the Pakistani community and encouraged them to continue contributing positively to Pakistan’s development and international image.
On the occasion, guests were given a special tour of the newly constructed Pakistan Chancellery (Consulate Building). Officials briefed visitors on the modern facilities, diplomatic services, and various departments established to serve the Pakistani community more efficiently.
Participants highly appreciated the state-of-the-art infrastructure and effective arrangements within the new facility, describing it as a major achievement for overseas Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia. They noted that the modern consular services and improved public facilities would greatly benefit the large Pakistani community residing in the Kingdom.

Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani also provided a detailed briefing on the different departments operating within the building and the range of services available to Pakistani citizens.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations and enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, manpower development, and community engagement.
