National Textile University Observes Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir with Patriotic Zeal

Solidarity Walk Held to Support the Kashmiri People; Commitment to Peace, Justice and the Right to Self-Determination Reaffirmed

FAISALABAD (Mian Iftikhar Ahmad): National Textile University (NTU) observed Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. A special solidarity walk was organized to express unwavering support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and to reaffirm the university’s commitment to peace, justice, human dignity and the right to self-determination.

The solidarity walk was led by Vice Chancellor/Rector Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood. Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Advisor Students Dr. Danish Mahmood, Program Director Artificial Intelligence (AI) Mr. Waqar Ahmad, along with a large number of faculty members, officers and staff, participated in the event.

Carrying banners and the national and Kashmiri flags, the participants marched across the university campus to express solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters. The occasion also highlighted the importance of dialogue, mutual respect and harmony for a peaceful and just resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood said that National Textile University firmly believes in the universal principles of human rights, justice and human dignity. He emphasized that safeguarding the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people and respecting their right to self-determination is a shared responsibility of the international community.

The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and a renewed pledge to continue supporting their legitimate struggle for the right to self-determination.

The event was organized in compliance with the directives of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), which called upon universities across Pakistan to observe Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir through awareness and solidarity activities.
