On May 8, 2025, multiple Indian drones reportedly crashed in various Pakistani cities, including Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, Gujrat, and Ghotki. In Rawalpindi, a drone fell near the Cricket Stadium Food Street, injuring two people and damaging a shop. The drone allegedly collided with a tree. One civilian was killed and five others injured nationwide, including four military personnel. Security forces have cordoned off the affected areas and launched investigations. An unverified report also suggests a drone may have fallen in the Race Course Ground area. The incidents have raised serious concerns about cross-border airspace violations.
