Armed Men Allegedly Kidnap Deputy Commissioner Kharan on Noshki-Kharan Road

Deputy Commissioner Kharan, Munir Ahmed Soomro, has allegedly been kidnapped by unidentified armed men on the main Noshki-Kharan Highway.
According to sources, Deputy Commissioner Munir Soomro was on his way home from his office along with his squad when heavily armed men, equipped with sophisticated weapons and already lying in ambush on the Noshki-Kharan road, intercepted his convoy. The armed men forcibly took the Deputy Commissioner Kharan with them and fled towards an unknown location.
Following the incident, security has been put on high alert across the district, while Levies and other law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the culprits and recover the Deputy Commissioner.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping, and an official statement from the administration is still awaited.
