DEO Chaman Ashok Kumar Rajput Intensifies Surprise Visits to Educational Institutions
Inspects Model High School and Mohalla Shahsawar High School, Issues Notices to Absent Teachers, Announces Cash Prizes and Appreciation Letters

District Education Officer Chaman, Ashok Kumar Rajput, has intensified his campaign of surprise inspections of government educational institutions to improve educational standards, discipline, and teacher attendance. In this regard, he paid surprise visits to Government Boys Model High School Chaman and Government Boys High School Mohalla Shahsawar.
During his visit to Government Boys Model High School on October 21, the DEO himself conducted the morning assembly and reviewed student attendance, discipline, and extracurricular activities. During the inspection, several teachers were found absent. He expressed strong displeasure over poor cleanliness of washrooms, ineffective use of the computer lab, and lack of discipline among students.
The school administration was given a one-week deadline to ensure visible improvement in cleanliness, effective utilization of the computer lab, timely attendance of teachers, regular conduct of morning assembly, and discipline. It was stated that absent teachers will be asked to submit explanations as per rules.
On October 22, during his visit to Government Boys High School Mohalla Shahsawar, the DEO carried out a detailed inspection of classrooms, teachers’ attendance registers, and the logbook. He directed the concerned staff to immediately improve the poor cleanliness condition and issued show-cause notices to absent teachers.
He visited different classes, asked students curriculum-related questions, and assessed their academic competence. To encourage students with outstanding academic performance, he distributed cash prizes on the spot, while appreciating the teaching skills of teacher Wazir Muhammad for his best teaching abilities and effective teaching methods and announced an appreciation letter for him.
DEO Chaman Ashok Kumar Rajput reiterated his resolve that the series of surprise visits will continue to ensure quality education, teacher attendance, cleanliness, and discipline in government educational institutions, and indiscriminate action will be taken against those showing negligence and carelessness in duties in accordance with rules and regulations.
