Various matters were discussed in the evening review meeting on the first day of the special anti-polio campaign (FIPV-OPV).
Provincial Coordinator of the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) Balochistan, Dr. Inam-ul-Haq, and Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangalzai, jointly chaired the evening review meeting to assess the performance of the first day of the ongoing special anti-polio campaign (FIPV-OPV) in District Chaman.
The meeting was attended by DHO Chaman, MS Dr. Muhammad Owais and Technical Focal Person Dr. Najeebullah, Dr. Asadullah Safi of the Core Team of the World Health Organization (WHO), relevant officers of the Health Department, representatives of the Polio Program and officials of other partner organizations.
During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on the overall progress of the first day of the campaign, performance of the teams, access to children, challenges faced, security, issues encountered in the field and an effective strategy for the future.
Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmed Bangalzai directed that no child should be deprived of polio prevention drops and FIPV vaccine. He urged the concerned officers to make the monitoring process in the field more effective, provide all possible facilities to the teams and ensure immediate access to the missed children.
Provincial Coordinator Dr. Inam-ul-Haq, appreciating the mutual cooperation of all institutions for the success of the campaign, said that an integrated strategy, continuous monitoring and parental cooperation are indispensable for the complete eradication of polio. He directed the concerned teams to ensure the achievement of the campaign goals by resolving the challeطnges in a timely manner so that every child can be protected from polio.
