Balochistan CM Strongly Reacts to Opposition Leader’s Statement, Says Chair Comes and Goes, Real Purpose is to Serve the People

Quetta (Syed Sardar Mohammad Khondai) Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while reacting to the statement of Opposition Leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai, has said that the chair is temporary, the real purpose is to serve the people of Balochistan.
He expressed these views while addressing a condolence reference held on the occasion of the 8th death anniversary of Shaheed Nawabzada Mir Siraj Khan Raisani. On this occasion, Provincial Ministers Mir Asim Kurd Gello, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Mir Ziaullah Langove, Mir Saleem Khosa, along with other political and tribal leaders, were present.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that if the situation in Balochistan improves with my resignation today, if Bashir Zeb and Dr. Allah Nazar announce that peace will come to Balochistan with the resignation or killing of Sarfraz Bugti, then I will be the first person who will ask not anyone else but my own brother to shoot me, so that peace may prevail among the people of Balochistan.
Addressing the opposition, he said that I want to remind them that when 20 innocent Pashtuns were martyred in Kut Kuchah, did your brother resign? Did your brother resign from the post of Governor and Ministry? And the honourable ministers who are present in the sit-in today, did they resign?
The Chief Minister further said that when our lawyers were brutally martyred in the August 8 tragedy, did your resignations come at that time? After that, in all the incidents that took place, especially in the Police Lines tragedy where more than 30 young recruits were brutally martyred, the media friends are witness that the first person to reach there that night was Sarfraz Bugti. Therefore, this is not a matter of resignations.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that do politics by all means, criticize my shortcomings, if you see misgovernance on my part then talk about it, if you see corruption then point it out, correct me. Opposition means opposition, but for God’s sake, stop doing politics on dead bodies, do not do politics on the bodies of martyrs.
In the end, he said that I request the families of the martyrs and political parties that we are ready to fulfill your legitimate demands. What is the job of the Assembly will be done by the Assembly, and what is the job of the Provincial Government will be done by the Provincial Government.
