Attock Hosts Grand Naatia Mushaira and Mehfil-e-Naat to Mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ
Attock (Ijaz-ul-Hassan): The district government, in connection with the celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ on 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, organized a grand and spiritually uplifting Naatia Mushaira and Mehfil-e-Naat under the auspices of the Municipal Committee Attock.
A large number of devotees of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ attended the gathering and presented tributes of love and devotion in praise of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Attock Anil Saeed, Chief Officer Municipal Committee Attock Sardar Aftab Ahmed Khan, Chief Supervisor Rashid-ur-Rehman, President Seerat Committee Haji Muhammad Ilyas, General Secretary Nadeem Raza Khan, Vice Chairman Naat Council Muhammad Irfan Qadri, Head Clerk Raja Zahid Hussain, Finance Secretary Pakistan Journalist Association Attock Malik Kamran Akhtar, Hameed Ahmed Awan, Ijaz-ul-Hassan, and other distinguished personalities.
During the Mehfil-e-Naat, renowned Naat reciters presented devotional verses in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Their heartfelt recitations created a deeply spiritual and peaceful atmosphere, while the participants expressed their appreciation with enthusiasm.
Shields Presented for Outstanding Services
Later, shields were distributed among Naat reciters, media representatives, shopkeepers, market owners and petrol pump owners who had made outstanding arrangements for illumination and decoration across the city during the Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ celebrations.
Officials and employees of the Municipal Committee Attock were also presented with shields in recognition of their hard work, dedication and excellent performance during the celebrations.
The participants appreciated the efforts of the district government and Municipal Committee Attock for organizing the religious and literary gathering. They said that such events promote love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ, religious harmony, brotherhood and positive social values in society.
