Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan, visited General Staff Headquarters in Tehran, where he met Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces. Both leaders discussed regional security dynamics, with emphasis on enhancing military cooperation and border security. They also explored transforming border areas into hubs of trade and connectivity. COAS received a ceremonial welcome by the Iranian Armed Forces. He also met Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian. This visit is part of a broader regional tour with the Prime Minister.
