Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Concludes Iran Visit, Departs for Azerbaijan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif completed his two-day official visit to Iran and departed for Azerbaijan. At Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport, Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and senior diplomats saw him off. During the visit, the Prime Minister met Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian. Talks focused on strengthening bilateral ties, regional connectivity, and strategic cooperation. Both sides appreciated efforts for regional peace and called for an end to Israeli aggression in Gaza. This visit marks the third leg of the Prime Minister’s four-nation tour, with Tajikistan as his final destination after Azerbaijan.
