Chaman (Syed Sardar Muhammad Khondai): Balochistan Assembly Speaker Capt (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai visited Chaman and reviewed several development projects across the district.
During his visit, the Balochistan Assembly Speaker inaugurated the newly completed Markazi Eidgah Ground in Chaman city. He also inspected ongoing development work and received briefings from officials about projects under construction.
Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangalzai, District Police Chief Aitezaz Arif and officers from several government departments accompanied the Speaker.
PML-N District President Haji Ataullah Khan Achakzai and Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Matiullah Achakzai also attended the visit.
The Markazi Eidgah Ground has now completed its construction work. The Balochistan Assembly Speaker formally opened the facility during his visit.
The Khateeb of Central Jamia Masjid, Hafiz Maulana Samiullah, thanked Capt (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai for his visit and participation in the inauguration.
A concerned department officer briefed the Speaker about the construction work. The official also explained the progress made during different stages of the project.
Capt (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai said authorities must maintain proper quality standards in all development projects. He directed the concerned departments to complete ongoing schemes within the scheduled time.
Balochistan Assembly Speaker Reviews Development Work
The Balochistan Assembly Speaker said government departments must avoid negligence while carrying out public development projects.
He said Chaman belongs to all its residents and institutions have a responsibility to serve the people. He stressed that officials should perform their duties with care and ensure that development work meets the required standards.
Capt (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai also said public service remains among the key priorities of the provincial government.
During the visit, the Speaker reviewed several development schemes at different locations. He received updates from officials about the progress of projects and the work still required for their completion.
He also inspected ongoing construction activities and discussed issues related to project quality and timely completion.
Later, a high-level meeting took place at the Deputy Commissioner Complex in Chaman under the chairmanship of Capt (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai.
The meeting reviewed the overall situation in the district. Participants also discussed development projects underway in different parts of Chaman.
Officers from various government departments attended the meeting and provided updates on their respective areas of work.
The Balochistan Assembly Speaker directed officials to remain focused on public needs and maintain close oversight of development schemes.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to review the progress of ongoing projects and identify areas that require attention from the relevant departments.
The visit ended with a renewed focus on completing development schemes on time and maintaining quality in public projects across Chaman.
