The Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah, in collaboration with the **Pakistan Investment Forum**, organized a grand **”Pakistani Mango Festival”**, attracting a large number of Saudi nationals, members of the Pakistani community, and expatriates from various countries.
The festival was inaugurated by the Consul General of Pakistan, **Syed Mustafa Rabbani**, together with the Vice Chairman of the **Jeddah Chamber of Commerce**, **Sheikh Imad Al-Aboud**, and several prominent Saudi businessmen. A large gathering of the Pakistani community also attended the event.
The exhibition showcased a wide variety of premium-quality Pakistani mangoes from different regions of Pakistan. Visitors were also offered an assortment of mango-based products, including biscuits, pastries, cakes, juices, and other delicacies, which were warmly appreciated by both Saudi and Pakistani attendees.
Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani said that the event was not just a one-day activity but part of the Consulate’s ongoing efforts to promote Pakistani products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He added that Pakistani kinnow also enjoys strong demand in Saudi Arabia and other international markets, and similar promotional exhibitions will be organized during the kinnow season to further introduce Pakistan’s agricultural products to global consumers.
Held at a local supermarket in Jeddah, the one-day Mango Festival drew a diverse audience of Saudis, Pakistanis, and expatriates from different nationalities. Visitors enjoyed tasting various varieties of Pakistani mangoes as well as a range of mango-based food products.
The Consul General expressed his appreciation to **Chaudhry Shafqat**, Chairman of the **Pakistan Investment Forum**, for his valuable support in organizing the successful event. He noted that such initiatives play an important role in strengthening trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The event was also attended by **Ms. Saadia Khan**, Commercial Consul at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah, and **Dr. Zareen**, Commercial Consul at the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh. They briefed Saudi guests and business representatives on Pakistan’s agricultural products, particularly the country’s premium mango varieties, their quality, and export potential.
Saudi businessmen praised the exceptional sweetness, aroma, and quality of Pakistani mangoes, describing them as among the finest in the world. They emphasized that events of this nature not only enhance bilateral trade but also further strengthen the cultural and economic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
It is worth mentioning that similar Pakistani Mango Festivals have previously been organized in **Riyadh** and **Dammam** by the Embassy of Pakistan in collaboration with the **Pakistan Investment Forum**, where they also received an overwhelmingly positive response from local consumers and the business community.
