IHRM Central Secretary General Mehboob Siddiqui Condemns Ziarat Terror Attack, Mourns 30 Police Martyrs

Islamabad: Muhammad Mehboob Siddiqui, Central Secretary General of the International Human Rights Movement (IHRM) has expressed profound grief and strongly condemned the tragic terrorist attack in Balochistan’s Ziarat district that claimed the lives of 30 police personnel.According to a press release issued by the International Human Rights Movement, Siddiqui described the incident as a brutal and cowardly act of terrorism aimed at targeting state institutions, undermining law and order, spreading fear among the public and destabilising peace in Balochistan. He said such attacks could never weaken the resolve of the nation.
He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the police, security forces and other law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism, stating that their bravery and dedication remain a source of pride for the entire nation.
Siddiqui said the attack reflected the continued presence of hostile elements in Balochistan that were attempting to disrupt Pakistan’s peace, development and stability. He stressed that coordinated, effective and decisive action was essential to eliminate terrorist networks and their facilitators.Paying rich tribute to the martyred police personnel, he said those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s peace and security would always be remembered with honour and respect. He expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families, adding that while the loss was irreparable, the government and state institutions should ensure every possible financial, legal and social support for the families of the martyrs and take practical measures for their welfare.
He also prayed that Almighty Allah grant the martyrs the highest ranks in Jannah, bless the injured with a speedy recovery and give strength and patience to the bereaved families to bear this immense loss.
