Grand Ceremony Held at Pakistan Consulate Jeddah to Mark One Year of Battle of Haq Bunyan Marsus
Pakistani Community Pays Tribute to Armed Forces and Offers Special Prayers for Pakistan’s Stability and Progress

A grand ceremony was held at the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah to commemorate the completion of one year of the Battle of Haq Bunyan Marsus. The event was attended by a large number of members of the Pakistani community representing different schools of thought, who paid glowing tribute to the bravery and professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
The participants recalled the historic victory in which, they said, the military ambitions of an enemy country five times larger than Pakistan were crushed within a short period of time. They remarked that the victory had sent a clear message to the world that no hostile force could dare cast an evil eye on Pakistan again.
Special prayers were offered for the long life of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, as well as for the integrity, stability, and progress of Pakistan.
Addressing the gathering, Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, said that Pakistan’s air and military leadership had demonstrated extraordinary courage, professionalism, and patriotism during the conflict. He also praised the Pakistani media for responsibly presenting the true picture before the world and for raising the morale of Pakistanis living both at home and abroad.
OIC Pakistani Delegate Ambassador Fawad Sher said that India had committed aggression while Pakistan acted in self-defense under international law. He stated that, with the prayers of the nation, the Pakistan Armed Forces gave a strong and befitting response. He further criticized the spread of false narratives through Indian media, adding that even prominent Indian journalists and media houses had rejected such propaganda.
Chairman Kashmir Committee Masood Ahmed Puri said that the courage and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces would always be remembered by the world. He said that despite aggression by a so-called major power, Pakistan successfully defended its sovereignty and dignity.
Chairman Pak Kashmir Community Engineer Arif Mughal said that Kashmiris were encouraged by Pakistan’s strong military leadership and successful foreign policy. He expressed hope that the day was not far when the people of Kashmir would also achieve freedom.

Sardar Waqas also addressed the ceremony and paid tribute to the armed forces for their sacrifices and achievements.
The ceremony was conducted by Welfare Consul Ms. Azka. At the end of the event, special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s integrity and prosperity, for the martyrs of the nation, and for the long life and well-being of the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
