The Grand Ballroom of Houston’s prestigious Post Oak Hotel came alive on the evening of May 3, 2026, as Mr. & Mrs. Tanweer Ahmed hosted a grand Valima reception to celebrate the marriage of their son Rehman Ahmed to Iman Khan. What unfolded over the course of that evening was far more than a wedding dinner — it was a gathering that brought together diplomats, politicians, journalists, cricketers, qawwals, attorneys, health care professionals, doctors, family members, friends, media professionals, and community members from Pakistan, the United States, and Canada under one roof.
