During the inspection, she thoroughly reviewed the prices of essential commodities, rate lists, and compliance with other legal requirements. Fines were imposed on several shopkeepers for various violations of the Price Control Act, and two individuals were arrested. Dr. Iffat-un-Nisa emphasized that violations of fixed rates, overcharging, and profiteering at the expense of citizens would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
