99th Syndicate Meeting of University of Balochistan – Important Decisions Made for Educational Quality, Transparency and Reforms

The 99th Syndicate meeting of the University of Balochistan was held at the Syndicate Hall under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai. In the meeting, various academic, financial and administrative matters related to the university were discussed in detail.
The meeting was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ghulam Razaq Shahwani, Registrar Gul Muhammad Kakar, Treasurer Khushhal Khan, Dr. Mansoor Baloch from the Finance Department, Additional Secretary Colleges, Higher and Technical Education Department, Government of Balochistan, Janzeb Khan Mandokhail, Deans of various faculties, Directors, members of the Syndicate and officers of the university.
In the meeting, the minutes of the meetings related to the Academic Council, Finance and Planning Committee, Selection Boards, E-Office system matters and various Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were approved. In addition, detailed discussions were held on financial affairs, faculty-related matters, teaching programs, review of policies and other institutional reforms.
In his address, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai said that the University of Balochistan is taking practical steps for the improvement of educational quality, a transparent financial system, quality research and the promotion of effective governance. Appreciating the active role of the Syndicate members, he expressed his determination that the university will be steered further on the path of progress in the fields of teaching, research and innovation.
The members of the Syndicate assured their full cooperation for the development of the university and the promotion of higher education, and appreciated the leadership and reformative measures of the Vice Chancellor.
