Senior journalist Aslam Khan Achakzai elected Provincial President of Mazloom Awami Tehreek

An important joint meeting of the central, provincial and district office-bearers of the Mazloom Awami Tehreek was held in Quetta, chaired by central president Abbas Khan Durrani. Central, provincial and district officials of the party participated in large numbers.

After consultations during the meeting, the name of Aslam Khan Achakzai was proposed for the post of provincial president, which was unanimously approved by all participants, and he was elected as the provincial president of Mazloom Awami Tehreek Balochistan.

Speaking on the occasion, central president Abbas Khan Durrani said that Aslam Khan Achakzai has always rendered sincere, tireless and valuable services to the party. He has previously successfully fulfilled his responsibilities as provincial general secretary. He expressed hope that Aslam Khan Achakzai, through his abilities, experience and leadership, will play an important role in further strengthening and activating the party.
The participants of the meeting offered their heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected provincial president Aslam Khan Achakzai and expressed their best wishes for him.

In his address, the newly elected provincial president Aslam Khan Achakzai said: “I am sincerely grateful to the party leadership and all my colleagues who have entrusted me with this important responsibility. This is both an honor and a duty for me. God willing, I will try my best to live up to the expectations of the party chairman, the central leadership and the workers, and I will leave no stone unturned in using all my abilities to make the party more organized, active and a popular force.”
