School Enrollment Campaign Balochistan urges parents to enroll children for a brighter and educated future

CHAMAN: The School Enrollment Campaign Balochistan was formally launched during a dignified ceremony held at Khair Jan Baghicha High School, Chaman, aimed at promoting education and ensuring that every child has access to schooling. The initiative reflects the vision of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, who are committed to strengthening the education sector across the province.

The event was organized under the leadership of Special Secretary Education Abdul Salam Achakzai, in collaboration with Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangalzai and District Education Officer Abdul Qudoos Achakzai. The ceremony also marked the inauguration of a Health Career Center, adding further value to the School Enrollment Campaign Balochistan initiative.

A large number of distinguished guests attended the event, including District President Muslim League Haji Attaullah Khan Achakzai, Female DEO Uzma Gillani, UNICEF District Officer Jameel Kakar, along with headmasters, senior teachers, students, and other officials. Their participation highlighted the collective commitment to making the School Enrollment Campaign Balochistan a success.

Addressing the gathering, Special Secretary Education Abdul Salam Achakzai announced that all educational institutions across the province would reopen from April 1, marking the formal beginning of the School Enrollment Campaign Balochistan. He emphasized that teachers must fulfill their responsibilities by motivating children to attend school regularly, while parents should play an active role in ensuring their children receive quality education.

He further revealed that a target of approximately 261,000 students has been set under the School Enrollment Campaign Balochistan, demonstrating the government’s serious commitment to expanding educational access. He stressed that education is not only a basic right but also the foundation of a prosperous and progressive society.

During their speeches, both Abdul Salam Achakzai and Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmed Bangalzai underscored the transformative power of knowledge. They described education as a source of light that elevates humanity and grants individuals dignity and distinction. They remarked that through knowledge, human beings attain the esteemed status of Ashraf-ul-Makhluqat, emphasizing the spiritual and intellectual significance of education.

The speakers further elaborated that no matter how extensively one writes about the importance of knowledge, its true value cannot be fully captured. In today’s modern era, where the world has become a global village, it is knowledge that has enabled rapid advancements in science and technology, bringing distant regions closer and improving human life.

The School Enrollment Campaign Balochistan also highlights the need to equip the younger generation with modern skills and education so they can compete in an increasingly interconnected world. Officials stressed that without education, sustainable development and social progress cannot be achieved.

Participants were urged to actively support the School Enrollment Campaign Balochistan by encouraging out-of-school children to enroll in nearby educational institutions. Parents and guardians were specifically called upon to take responsibility for their children’s future by providing them with the invaluable gift of education.

The ceremony concluded with a strong message that the success of the School Enrollment Campaign Balochistan depends on collective efforts from government authorities, educators, parents, and the community. The initiative is expected to play a vital role in increasing literacy rates and building a brighter future for the youth of Balochistan.
