RPO visits Rifaha International College, signs MoU

FAISALABAD: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera visited Rifaha International College, Sargodha Road, where he distributed certificates among students who had completed Hifz-i-Quran at Dar-e-Arqam School.Speaking on the occasion, the RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera lauded the students’ religious and academic achievements, terming memorisation of the Holy Quran a great honour that plays a vital role in character-building and social betterment.During the visit, MoU was signed between the Faisalabad police and Rifaha International College to provide special fee concessions for the children of police officers and personnel. The agreement was signed by RPO Sohail Sukhera and the college’s Executive Director, Barrister Muhammad Danish.
Under the MoU, children of police martyrs will receive a 60 per cent concession in registration and tuition fees, children of ghazi police officers a 50 per cent concession, while children of serving and retired police personnel will be granted a 40 per cent fee concession.The RPO Sohail Sukhera said that signing of MOUs with different academic and Health institutions , aim to ensure access to quality education for police families, adding that the welfare of police personnel and securing the future of their children remained a top priority for the Faisalabad police.
