Focus on quality treatment, free medicines, and improved hygiene for patients. Faisalabad: To review the implementation of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s revolutionary health reforms, Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar paid a surprise visit to Allied Hospital-I. He inspected the OPD, general wards, and emergency department, observing the treatment procedures and overall service delivery. The Commissioner interacted with patients and their attendants regarding the provision of free medicines and emphasized that no patient should face any complaint in this regard.
He also reviewed the cleanliness situation and instructed that a hygienic environment must be maintained at all times. The Commissioner stressed the need for better management in the OPD during peak hours, checking the prices of essential items at the hospital canteen, and taking action against those involved in overcharging.
He stated that providing modern, quality, and fast medical services to patients should be the foremost mission, and assured that necessary additional resources for the hospital will be arranged. Medical Superintendent Dr. Faheem Ashraf briefed the Commissioner on the administrative and medical affairs of the hospital.
