Police Martyrs Day observed with reverence across Balochistan, rich tributes paid to martyrs

Like other parts of Balochistan, Police Martyrs Day was observed with great devotion and respect in different districts.
The main ceremony of Police Martyrs Day was held in Quetta, where Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, visited the Martyrs’ Memorial, laid a floral wreath, and offered prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks.
Addressing the ceremony on the occasion, IGP Balochistan Muhammad Tahir said that we are indebted to the martyrs. They are our heroes, a symbol of the survival and security of the nation, and the jewel of our crown. We pay tribute to all those martyrs who laid down their lives for the sake of peace in the province. We are proud of our martyrs who rendered unparalleled sacrifices for our peace.
He said that martyrdom is a great rank and the families of the martyrs are close to our hearts. The war against terrorism is a war for all of us and we have to fight it together. We will face all challenges with complete unity and consensus. Martyrs are our pride and their sacrifices can never be forgotten.
Meanwhile, a ceremony was also held at Chaman Police Station in connection with Police Martyrs Day. On this occasion, Commandant Chaman Scouts Brigade, Brigadier Zirrar, visited the Martyrs’ Memorial and laid flowers. On the occasion, DSP Chaman Ashfaq Ahmed along with other police officers were also present.
