Faisalabad: The Regional Police Office (RPO) Faisalabad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DIASCient Medical Complex and Laboratory to provide improved and affordable healthcare facilities to police officers and their families.The MoU was signed by Regional Police Officer Faisalabad, DIG Sohail Akhtar Sukhera and Chief Executive Officer of DIASCient Medical Complex, Muhammad Ehsan, at a ceremony held in Faisalabad.
Under the agreement, special discounts on diagnostic and laboratory services will be extended to police personnel and their families as part of a welfare initiative.
According to the terms of the MoU, families of police martyrs (Shuhada) will receive 100 per cent discount on routine laboratory tests and 75 per cent discount on special tests. Ghazi police officers and their families will be entitled to a 70 per cent discount, while retired police officers and their families will receive a 55 per cent discount. Serving police officers and their families will be provided a 50 per cent discount on medical tests. Speaking on the occasion, RPO Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera said that a healthy police force was essential for effective and efficient policing. He added that providing quality healthcare facilities to police personnel and their families remained a top priority of the police department.
The initiative aims to support the well-being of police officers by ensuring access to reliable and quality medical services at subsidised rates.
