Quetta: Negotiations Successful, Hanna Orak Sit-in Ends
The ongoing sit-in by the victims of Hanna Orak at B.A. Mall, Quetta, has ended following successful negotiations.
Last night, a high-level government delegation led by Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, held formal talks with the sit-in committee, which continued for a long time. During the meeting, the victims presented their demands to the government delegation.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti accepted all legitimate demands of the victims on the spot and assured their immediate resolution.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that we must remember the sacrifices of the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the state. Our security institutions and the Armed Forces of Pakistan are sacrificing their lives day and night, and our soldiers are embracing martyrdom every day.
Following the agreement, the sit-in committee announced an end to the protest and the reopening of all blocked highways for traffic.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Balochistan was accompanied by Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Senator Manzoor Kakar, DIG Balochistan Police, Commissioner Quetta Division, Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Director PDMA Faisal Tariq, Syed Sadiq Agha, former Spokesperson Governor House Nazeer Ahmed Achakzai and other senior officials were also present.
