Terrorism Does Not Represent Any Nation, Portraying it as Pashtun-Baloch Conflict is a Conspiracy to Spread Hatred – Speakers

Pishin (Syed Sardar Mohammad Khondai)

A protest rally was organized by the All Parties Anjuman-e-Tajiran Pishin against the activities of armed groups and the recent incidents of terrorism and unrest in District Pishin and Saranan, which later turned into a protest gathering.
Provincial President of Awami National Party (ANP) Balochistan, Asghar Khan Achakzai, specially participated in the protest rally. The protest meeting was addressed by ANP Provincial President Asghar Khan Achakzai, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Provincial Vice Amir Maulana Kamal-ud-Din, Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Central Secretary Information Essa Khan Roshan, and representatives and leaders of Anjuman-e-Tajiran and civil society.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers said that attributing terrorism in the Pashtun belt to the BLA and giving it the color of a Pashtun-Baloch conflict is an attempt to create hatred and distance between the two nations, while in reality, there is no such conflict between the Pashtun and Baloch nations.
They said that the state has failed to establish its writ and an attempt is being made to take Pashtun-Baloch hatred to a point where both nations are themselves struggling against terrorism, unrest, and oppression. Terrorism does not represent any nation, language, or region and raising a united voice against it is the urgent need of the hour.
The participants of the protest meeting strongly criticized the government and relevant institutions and demanded that terrorism and activities of armed groups in Pashtun areas, including Pishin and Saranan, be curbed immediately and the protection of life and property of the people be ensured. The protesters made it clear that this series of unrest and terrorism is not acceptable in any case and must be ended immediately.
A large number of people participated in the protest demonstration.
