Pakistan and China signed three Memorandums of Understanding in Urumqi, witnessed by President Asif Ali Zardari. The agreements include modernization of the livestock industry, establishment of a textile industrial park in Pakistan, and supply of fire trucks and emergency equipment. President Zardari said these MoUs will enhance food security, boost exports, create rural jobs, and strengthen disaster response. Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, and China’s Ambassador to Pakistan also attended the ceremony.
