Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been appointed as the Patron-in-Chief of a newly established authority responsible for restoring Lahore’s historic buildings.

The initiative aims to preserve the architectural and cultural heritage of Lahore, a city known for its rich history and iconic landmarks. Under Nawaz Sharif’s patronage, the authority will oversee restoration projects, ensuring that historic sites are maintained while promoting tourism and cultural development.

The move reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to safeguarding the province’s heritage, with the PML-N leadership playing a central role in these efforts.
