Faisalabad: An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Nadeem Nasir to discuss in detail the alignment of WASA’s trunk sewer on Jhang Road. The meeting was attended by Managing Director WASA Saqib Raza and representatives from the consulting agency NESPAK.
The Deputy Commissioner directed NESPAK to conduct a detailed survey and submit a report within a week. He emphasized that both divisions of NESPAK should coordinate and provide certification confirming that there is no conflict between the alignment of WASA’s trunk sewer and the Metro Bus route. In case any issues arise, alternative solutions should be proposed.
Managing Director WASA informed the meeting that the trunk sewer line is being laid from Dejkot Drain Disposal to Model Bazaar, Jhang Road, and NESPAK should ensure that no obstacles hinder WASA in carrying out the sewer line installation.
