WASA officers and field staff—under the supervision of Managing Director Ali Ahmed Chaudhry and Deputy Director Rana Muhammad Kashif—have been continuously active throughout the night. Acting on the Deputy Commissioner’s special instructions, WASA teams deployed with machinery and manpower to various areas immediately after the rain to drain accumulated water. WASA officials and staff are maintaining constant oversight of the drainage operations, and all available resources are being utilized to provide immediate relief to the citizens.
