Dr. Iffat-un-Nisa visited the Excise and Taxation Department in Mandi Bahauddin to conduct a detailed review of the tax collection process, departmental performance, and ongoing initiatives. She received a briefing from District Excise and Taxation Officer Chaudhry Mukhtar Ahmed Gondal and other relevant officials regarding tax collection targets, progress achieved to date, and the facilities being provided to taxpayers. Dr. Iffat-un-Nisa stated that the timely collection of government revenue facilitates the provision of resources for public welfare and development activities. She emphasized that every possible facility should be extended to taxpayers and that transparency, merit, and excellent service delivery must be ensured in departmental operations. She further directed that effective measures to achieve set tax collection targets be intensified and that citizens be comprehensively informed about the importance of timely tax payments.
