LONDON: King Charles has praised Pakistan’s efforts to mediate between the United States and Iran, expressing appreciation for Islamabad’s role in seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
The king made the remarks while welcoming the Pakistan cricket team to Buckingham Palace, where he met the players and discussed their visit to the United Kingdom and the ongoing Test series against England.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK Tipu Usman and British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott were also present during the meeting.
