Failure of the United Nations to Act on Its Own Resolutions
The United Nations and the world’s peacekeepers are paying the price, sitting silently on all the fiber of India’s troubles. The status of the United Nations as an effective representative international organization will be recognized only when its resolutions and decisions are implemented in accordance with their spirit to resolve the mutual disputes of its member countries that come before it.
A Moment of Reflection for Global Leadership
In the current situation, it is a moment of reflection for the leaderships of the United Nations member countries, especially the major powers, as to why they have not been able to make the United Nations active so far to resolve the world’s conflicts.
Implementing UN Resolutions for Global and Regional Peace
For the sake of regional and global peace, the implementation of the United Nations resolutions regarding Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Islamophobia in accordance with their spirit should be the first priority of the United Nations member countries.
Kashmir Solidarity Day and the Call for Accountability
The purpose of celebrating Kashmir Solidarity Day today is also to draw the attention of the United Nations and its member countries, especially the major countries, to the ongoing Indian atrocities in Kashmir.
The Credibility Crisis of the United Nations
If even a dozen UN resolutions are not proving effective in resolving the long-standing Kashmir issue, what is the significance of this representative international body? Has this international body become so helpless? The silence of world powers on the Kashmir issue betrays their indifference.
