FDA and Divisional Kabaddi Association Organized Kashmir Solidarity Day Kabaddi Cup Won by Nankana Sahib Club

Faisalabad: The “Kashmir Solidarity Day Kabaddi Cup,” organized through the joint collaboration of the FDA and the Divisional Kabaddi Association, was clinched by the Nankana Sahib Kabaddi Club after a thrilling victory over the Sher-e-Punjab Tigers Kabaddi Club with a score of 40 to 35. The winning team was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 300,000 while the runners-up received a trophy and Rs 200,000. The Kashmir solidarity day kabaddi cup was held at the D-Block ground of FDA City, the final match featured MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra as the chief guest and Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry as the guest of honor. The event was attended by Chief Engineer FDA Mehr Ayub, Project Director/Director Estate Management-II Sohail Maqsood Pannu, and other FDA officials, alongside Divisional Sports Officer Manzar Shah, Organizing Secretary Tayyab Gilani, elites of city , prominent sports personalities, and a massive crowd of Kabaddi enthusiasts. Sanjha Punjab Kabaddi Club and Muzammil Boota Azad Kabaddi Club secured the third and fourth positions, respectively, earning a trophy and cash prizes of Rs100,000 each.The chief guest, MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra, and DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry were introduced to the finalists before the match and distributed prizes at the conclusion, as spectators thoroughly enjoyed the intense and sensational competition between the renowned teams. Speaking after the ceremony, MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra congratulated the victors and encouraged all participating teams for their excellent performance. He lauded DG FDA Asif Chaudhry and his team for organizing a popular sport like Kabaddi to express deep affection and unwavering commitment to Kashmiri brothers on Kashmir Solidarity Day. He remarked that these spirited matches highlighted the Kashmir issue in a unique way at the public level. Paying tribute to the sacrifices of Kashmiri freedom fighters, he stated that the hearts of the Pakistani nation beat with their Kashmiri brothers and that moral, political, and diplomatic support would continue on every forum. He warned that any aggression from India would be met with a crushing response, noting that the world had already witnessed India’s humiliating defeats. Emphasizing that Pakistan was achieved through countless sacrifices, he vowed that the nation would not rest until Occupied Kashmir is liberated, adding that while Pakistan seeks a peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue, it possesses the full strength to secure Kashmir. Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry concluded by thanking MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra for his participation as chief guest and reiterated that the FDA had taken comprehensive measures to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day with full fervor.
