Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, visited flood-affected areas of Punjab including Sialkot Sector, Shakargarh, Narowal, and Kartarpur to assess the situation and ongoing relief operations. He commended the army and civil administration for their efforts, interacted with the affected Sikh community, and assured restoration of religious sites, including Durbar Sahib Kartarpur. COAS also conducted an aerial flyover of the shrine and praised troops for their dedication and high morale during the rescue operations.
