Islamabad — PTI’s legal counsel Barrister Gaur Ali held an emergency press conference criticizing the recent court verdict, stating: “The judiciary has completely lost the trust of 250 million Pakistanis.”
He termed the sentences handed to Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Umar Sarfraz Cheema, Ijaz Chaudhry, and Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed as unjust and politically engineered.
PTI leaders strongly rejected the ruling, alleging that the decision was pre-planned and aimed at weakening the party. They announced intentions to appeal in higher courts and launch both legal and political movements to expose what they call a “mockery of justice.”
